International Women's Day is celebrated in many countries around the world. It is a day when women are recognisned for their achievements without regard to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political and eliminate discrimination against women. LACoN Football training These Fridays training sessions are organised by NCL and sponsored by Leeds City Council to prepare the Nigeria football team and the wider African community potential participants for the annual LACON Football Tournament. This is a 10 weeks an hour Friday football sessions. Don't miss it
NCL - General Meeting General overview and update of activities for the year Meeting led by NCL elected executives with members to discuss matters concerning the community
LACoN - Junior This is a popular inter school event organise by Nigerian Community Leeds within the LS9 area and beyond. The objective is to encourage young juniors in primary schools within the Leeds community.
LACoN Senior The objective is to boost community cohesion and use sports as a bridge to establish strategic alliances within the African communities and other communities in Leeds and environs.
Family Trip A family day trip to the seaside on a hired coach. Open to non-NCL members and friends. Date to be confirmed and more information to follow.

Leeds West Indian Carnival Showcasing Nigeria culture in the Leeds Carnival.
Attend welcome week events for Leeds University and Leeds Beckett University to welcome Nigerian students. Promote NCL activities within the university. Provide NCL the opportunity to introduce itself to new students.
