Mr Ben Izuagie - Chairman
I have held various roles in the Nigerian Community Leeds and other charitable organisations. Currently, I work with Children’s Services at Leeds City Council.
My focus is on youth engagement, organising career opportunities, and fostering socio-cultural cohesion.
Connecting Nigerian communities is my passion. I work with other indigenous Nigerian community leaders to celebrate our diversity and leverage our strengths, supporting Nigerians in Leeds by offering information and guidance to new arrivals on various aspects of daily living to support their transition and promote inclusivity.
I also work on developing fundraising initiatives and aim to maximise the socio-cultural benefits of our diverse communities while prioritising individual needs.
Mr Alfred Wokoma - Director of Administration
Mr Femi Olusola - Director of Project
Mrs Deborah Oburoh - Director of Finance
Mr Henry Anadi - Director of Welfare
I believe welfare of Nigerians surrounds the need for physical, financial, mental and medical health. Hence, it’s good deeds , charity and humanitarian responsibility to care for people. This inspires and drives the heart of all I do. I am Igbo by tribe, hail from Nnewi South LGA in Anambra State, Nigeria. As a husband and Father, I believe in family experience and background orientation as positive tool towards exploring and delivering human welfare. I see my position as channel through which my intentions of giving back to the society could be delivered. As Nigerians I feel we often find ourselves on the edge requiring compassion, collaboration, love and fairness. I believe one of the best ways to met these needs is by nursing and extending arms of positive intentions, by selflessly putting self forward with the intentions to offer selfless care service and support to the community.
